Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry (PCMD) (up to 2012)The PCMD was formed as a joint college of the Universities of Exeter and Plymouth, in partnership with the NHS. It was established in 2000 and ranked joint first for student satisfaction.Key objectives were to increase research capacity and build further upon an already strong partnership with the NHS in the South West.In 2012, students studied with the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry, with the first students of the Plymouth University Peninsula Schools of Medicine and Dentistry (PU PSMD) welcomed at the beginning of the 2013 academic year.
