The University of Jaén has a wide academic offer including more than 40 degrees in the areas of: Humanities and Education, Experimental Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, and Engineering. Such offer is structured in undergraduate and postgraduate studies (master and official doctorate). The University of Jaén has a total number of seven Faculties and Colleges which create a friendly learning atmosphere both for Spanish and international students. Moreover, the possibility of joining combined degrees is also offered.
The University of Jaén (UJA or UJAEN) is a public university based in Jaén, Andalucía, Spain. It is a young university established by Law 5 / 1993 of the Andalusian Parliament of July 1, 1993. In addition to the principal campus, Campus Lagunillas, located in Jaén, the university has two satellite campuses in Linares and Úbeda. Currently under construction is the Scientific-Technological Campus in Linares.Jaén University traces its history back to the Modern Age with the University of Baeza and throughout the 17th century, in the brief period when the General Study of Santa Catalina became a Pontifical University.
