These libraries are part of the training system for students and the scientific and educational life of the ESPE. They propose reference collections in the field of education, teaching and training, to meet the initial and continuing training needs of teachers and education personnel. In addition, a legacy fund, located in Besancon, offers precious materials for research, especially with a large collection of textbooks of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. It is open to the public by appointment. A library instruction is offered to students to enable them to acquire information literacy in educational science, methods to conduct information searches, as well as knowledge on the rights of information applied to the profession of teacher."
