Simon Bolivar Andean University is an academic institution with an international vocation, created as a center at the crossroads experiences, values ​​and initiatives of the countries of the Andean region, and as a mechanism of contact with other university and cultural areas of the world. As a center of excellence, the university dedicated to research, teaching and service delivery, especially for the transmission of scientific and technological knowledge. It intends, also, to encourage a spirit of cooperation and coordination between universities in the subregion, and contribute to the creation and strengthening of the principles of the Andean Community.
