Salford City College is very proud to have the highest success rates for 16-18 year olds out of all the further education colleges in Greater Manchester. We have a number of key centres offering a massive range of academic and vocational qualifications. These range from basic skills through to degrees and include many work-based programmes as well as traditional classroom-based learning. Our programmes lead to vocational qualifications, including Apprenticeships, or academic qualifications such as A-Levels. So whatever your aim is, we can support you.
Salford City College is a further education college based in Salford, England. It opened on 1 January 2009, as the result of a merger between Salford College, Eccles College and Pendleton College to form a 'supercollege'. Salford City College continues to function in the same buildings that the previous colleges had. Each centre has a Centre Principal and a senior leadership team who are there to ensure that every student experience is of the same high quality that we set our standards to. We have in excess of 15,000 students each year, with over 5,500 of these being full-time 16-18 year old students progressing directly from school.
