Saitama University is now extensively enhancing the functions of research and teaching for human resource cultivation by receiving government funding. As a research institution, we are strengthening particularly in interdisciplinary approaches to complex issues on life science, green science, and man-machine interaction science. Furthermore, as one of ‘Global 30 Plus Universities’ in Japan, we have been creating various curriculums for cultivating global leaders, such as Lab-to-Lab Graduate Student Exchange Program based on research collaboration with counterpart professors in partner universities. We are also moving forward with physical improvements on our already beautiful campus, including renovations of University Library, Research Laboratory Complex, and Cafeteria.
