The KCGI is committed to train highly specialized professionals of applied information technology, to equip them with practical and creative skills, and to promote their willingness and ability to respond to the current and future social needs. The KCG group, in its original form, was founded in 1963 when computer technology was in its infancy. KCG, as the country’s first computer educational institution, grew as computer technology itself grew, has sent out many promising talents to our communities. Following the traditions and achievement of the KCG, Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics (KCGU) was founded in 2004. We are very small and we are very young. But we have begun taking a definite step toward the new era. we hope to guide our students to master necessary skills to prosper in IT industry, and to fully understand their potential to influence our communities in the right direction. We are open to anyone with ambition, regardless of age, background, or nationality. Any prospective individuals, with interests in art or science, completed a college degree or not, began his or her career or not, or looking to study from home or abroad, we sincerely welcome you all to join our program.
