Huachiew Chalermprakiet University was founded by the Poh Tek Sieng Tung Overseas Chinese Foundation, which is the largest charitable Chinese organization in Thai society. Our constant policy is to support education in order to develop human resources in a project we refer to as “Service to Society and Educational Development”. Huachiew Chalermprakiet University was founded under a steadfast resolution by the Poh Tek Sieng Tung Overseas Chinese Foundation, or the Poh Tek Tung Foundation – a foundation grateful to His Majesty the King of Thailand for his great mercy and aiming to bring benefit to society through providing opportunities, creating equality at the level of higher education, and promoting a virtuous culture in accordance with a foundation of Buddhism and ancestor worship.
