1961-1975: The Hanoi Banking College was founded on 3th September 1961 under the Decision 3072/GV of the Prime Minister in order to provide Undergraduate education & keep Vietnamese banking staff updated with contemporary skills & knowledge in banking sector.
1976-1992: Under the Decision No. 1229/NH-QD dated on 16th December 1976, one more campus was established in Ho Chi Minh City with fulltime and in-service courses of Higher Diploma and Bachelor Degree in Banking and Finance. 1993-1997: The Center for Banking Training and Science established under the Decision No. 112/TTG dated 23rd March 1993 by which Hanoi Banking College was merged with its Ho Chi Minh branch, three upper high schools in BacNinh, Son Tay, Phu Yen and the Institute of Currency and Credits of the State Bank of Vietnam.
