In Pakistan, tremendous efforts are being made, both in the public as well as private sectors, to expedite the Computer Information Technology revolution.
THE ALIGARH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (AIT) sponsored by Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association, Pakistan (AMUOBA) was established in 1989, s located on a portion of plotST-16, measuring 1.2acres,on the University Road, Opposite Aziz Bhatti Park inBlock 5, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi. It is planned to a big Polytechnic Institute for boys and girls to provide, in phases, theoretical and practical courses of instructions in a number of technologies leading to the Diploma of Associate Engineers (DAE) of Sind Board of Technical Education (SBTE).
