YMCA Wales Community College operates very differently to most further education Colleges. In the traditional sense of the word, it isn’t a college at all. Rather than using a central location, all courses are held at venues in the community and are delivered by local tutors. This provides a comfortable, familiar learning environment which appeals to everyone looking to learn new skills, from school leavers to retired people.

In a recent government inspection the College was awarded record breaking grades in its sector, becoming the highest rated Adult Community-Based Learning provider in Wales.
The majority of the College’s courses lead to Agored Cymru certificates which are recognised by further and higher education providers, and many employers."
