Since its establishment, the University registered progress unmatched by any other University in country at the similar early phase, and it is now in the process of producing a community of scholars committed to making in roads into yet unchartered areas of knowledge both in the emerging and traditional disciplines for which numerous facilities of advanced levels are being provided at the campus. University has offered and maintained Under-graduate and Post-graduate Programs in Basic, Social, Computer, Management and Engineering Sciences, since its establishment. To facilitate the successful conduct of these Programs, considerable spadework has been done, including the establishment of laboratories for practical classes. The University, in spite of numerous constraints and limitations, has been able to engage highly qualified and experienced faculty.
