The Private University of Oruro (UNIOR) is an institution of service to the community Oruro, with a high degree of appreciation for their continued development, becoming a fundamental contribution to the strengthening of higher education in the country; institutional mission is to optimize their levels of excellence in the teaching-learning process, expanding their academic performance for the benefit of students and the community as a whole. "It was founded on February 10, 1997, with official recognition for conduct of the educational authorities of the Ministry of Education, through Ministerial Resolution No. 0095/99 of 24 March 1999, with Racing Business Administration, Auditing, law and Systems Engineering. It started its operation in its own building, located at Junín 348 Esq. Potosí. Las Carreras Dentistry, Nursing and Medicine began their academic work, with Ministerial Resolutions Nos. 354/03, 38/03 and 093/09 respectively ."
