The UNAJ begins writing the first lines of its history on 29 December 2009 when the Congress of Argentina enacted Law 26,576 for the creation of the National University Jauretche based in Florencio Varela, Province of Buenos Aires. Since then, start is given to a set of actions for planning, organization and management of the new educational proposal part of the National Project that trigger and is based on democratic values, the right to education, interdisciplinary work and committed relationship with the community. In October 2010, less than a year after the promulgation of the law for the establishment of the headquarters of the rectory at the corner of Av it opens.
