The University Francisco José de Caldas is an autonomous institution of higher education, public, consisting essentially of processes and relationships that generate students and teachers identified in the free pursuit of knowledge. The University District "Francisco José de Caldas" in its autonomous status and the Capital District State University, will be recognized nationally and internationally for its excellence in building knowledge, expertise and high-impact research for solving development problems human and sociocultural transformation, by strengthening and dynamic, proactive and relevant articulating their university functions within the framework of a participatory, transparent and competitive management.
