The University has its origin in a business school: the Graduate School of Business Administration (EFSA) , established in 1978, aiming to train human resources for the management of companies.
EFSA was created at a time of economic growth and investment in the country, which created a demand for trained cadres to work in all levels of the business world. The institution was established as a private non-profit organization with the mission to produce and disseminate knowledge in a specific area of social sciences: the Business, with broad scope, regardless of political, social or religious status of the person concerned to acquire knowledge.
