The department trains students to be TV directors, TV scriptwriters, and managers who support TV personalities behind the scenes. In addition to listening to lectures given by currently active TV producers, directors, and managers, students learn how to produce real programs through program production practices that emphasize the importance of teamwork. Students can learn techniques and acquire know-hows through a curriculum centeredon hands-on practice using facilities of the same quality as those of broadcastingstations, such as the TV and lighting studios affiliated with the school, and crane cameras that are indispensable in music programs. Students from different departments will work together on dramas, variety shows, and music programs̶from planning to production̶with each being responsible for his/her respective area of study, whether it is directing, technology, art design, or some other field.
