The institution was established in the year 2005. It is run by the Mogals Educational and charitable Trust with Er.P.Mohammed Eaikeem as its Chairman. An institution constituted by the minority section of society with the great belief that no service to our nation could be greater than the service done through education. Ever since its inception it in the year 2005, it has been striving for the uplift of neighbouring rural mass. True to its vision/mission it labours for nation building and social transformation through quality education. We are continuously & striving to improve the quality of the education provide. The college campus is spread over 25 Acres of land and the built up area is 2575 sq.mts. It has adequate infrastructure to meet the curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular needs of the students. It is recognised by the Government of Tamilnadu, approved by the NCTE and affiliated to the Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai. The College offers B.Ed course with an intake of 200 students under six disciplines viz; Tamil, English, Physical science, Biological science, Mathematics and History. In the Year 2007 the College started M.Ed course also with an intake of 25 students. In the Year2010-2011 the intake for M.Ed is raised to 35.
