The Medical University of Lodz was inaugurated on October 1, 2002 as a merger of two Medical Schools: the Medical Academy of Lodz and the Military Medical Academy of Lodz by the Act of the Polish Parliament of July 27, 2002. The Medical Academy of Lodz was founded on January 1,1950 by separating from the University of Lodz three faculties: Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical. Medical University of Lodz and University of Copenhagen (Center for Healthy Aging), cooperating within international consortium European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Health, calls for applications of MUL students to attend Summer School – “Interdisciplinary Aspects of Healthy Aging” to take place in Copenhagen on July 7 to July 26, 2015.The MUL Fundraiser is an annual even organized by the Student Government & Alumni Association of the international division of the Medical University of Lodz.
