The October 20, 1972, when the charter of the Colombian School of Engineering was signed, an ambitious educational project aimed at training engineers of excellence began.
First was born the civil engineering program, then came the electrical and systems; then, once the School occupied a deserved place of honor among the institutions of higher education in the country, programs of industrial engineering and electronics were included and the economy. In 2002 the Governing Council approved the creation of business administration program in 2003 started work program Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering in 2009 and 2011 Biomedical Engineering.
