Our school was set out as “Cheng-Shiu Junior College of technology” in 1965. It was then reorganized with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and was renamed as “Cheng-Shiu Institute of Technology & Commerce” in 1980. In 1999, the school was promoted to be “Cheng Shiu Institute of Technology” and was further upgraded to “Cheng-Shiu University” in 2003.
We currently offer Day-Time Programs (Graduate Institute; Two-year technical college for graduates from junior college; Four-year technical college for graduates from vocational senior high school; Five-year junior college for graduates from junior high school; Two-year junior college for graduates from vocational senior high school), Continue-Education Programs (Two-year technical college for graduates from junior college; Four-year technical college for graduates from vocational senior high school; Two-year junior college for graduates from vocational senior high school), and the weekend Programs in the affiliated Institute of Continuing Education (Two-year technical college and junior college).
