In the State of Bihar, where the seeds of the earliest republic were sown a seat of learning named after Mithila is situated which established its importance from the very ancient period. A need was felt in early 19forties to establish legal education in that region and to cater that need C M Law College was established but we know that no Educational Institution is complete without adequate facilities to its Students, Faculties & Employees. So C.M. Law College provides wide range of facilities on its campus. A well managed residential accommodation with modern facility is planned to be provided to students. Mess & Canteen facilities on campus will also be provided where everything from a simple coffee and sandwich to a full meal will be available. The L N M University provides a full range of medical services for students & for employees who register as patients. In addition to general practice services, the College provides a range of specialist clinics and visiting practitioners. The College organises regular careers fairs, training workshops, and one-to-one guidance for students. Counselling Service aims to enable students to achieve their academic and personal goals by providing confidential counselling and support for any difficulties encountered while at the College. University provides a wide range of IT services including campus internet access. This College has produced a number of Judges of the Supreme Court, High Courts and Lower Judiciary as well as Senior Advocates & Jurists in an span of 67 years The constructed area of the College spread over 5 acres of land at Harahi Pokhar (Tank) near Darbhanga railway station but it has been facing the problem of encroachment by local people. One academic block, administrative block, boys' hostel exists at the campus but the boy’s hostel is still in the possession of one encroacher.
