The Autonomous University of Sinaloa, although under various names in its 143 years of existence, has been a significant cultural and moral support of Sinaloa and northwestern Mexico. It opened as the Liceo Rosales May 5, 1873, by decree of the liberal governor Eustaquio Buelna. The gallery of his notable students, teachers, researchers and illustrious graduates is prolonged Eustaquio Buelna Rafael Buelna Tenorio, L. Ruperto Paliza, Epitacio Osuna, Ramon Ponce de Leon, Bernardo J.
