The American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine offers a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, emphasizing both acupuncture and Chinese herbology. Students may choose to develop special skills in one of the following areas of traditional Chinese medicine: gynecology, internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, dermatology, neurological disorders, musculo-skeletal disorders or sensory organ disorders. Additionally, a 41-credit Tuina Massage Program is offered which confers a certificate in Chinese therapeutic body work. AAAOM was founded with the aid and support of many people and institutions in China and the United States.
