National Institute of Photography (NIP, est. 1983) was founded by Late. Prof. Manohar Desai with a view of spreading the knowledge of photography among the youth, who aspire to make career in photography and others, who like to pursue it as a hobby too. NIP is a renowned, popular and trustworthy training institute in the country and has been conducting Certificate and Diploma courses for many years. NIP has trained thousands of students in photography and videography, in a systematic and methodical way, since its inception in 1983. Many of the students have pursued successful careers in photography either as a free-lancer or running their independent studios, or as a wedding & event photographer, etc. NIP has students coming in from various parts of country as well as from abroad. NIP is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institute, the first photography institute in India to be ISO Certified. Our courses are defined in such a way that they lay basic foundation for various genres of photography viz. wild-life, bird photography, macro photography, nature, sports, and press and so on. They contain theory and practical sessions to provide in-depth knowledge of the subject.
